Book #4

So Much More
By: Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin

Written by Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin, “So Much More” is not your typical “survival guide” for teenage girls. Rather, this book provides answers to difficult questions or dilemmas young women face in our culture. Questions like “How can I sustain healthy and God-honoring relationships within my family?” Anna Sofia and Elizabeth particularly address the relationship between a father and a daughter, and offer wisdom on how to help your father as he advances the kingdom of God.

What It Meant to Me:
This book has really helped me in my walk with the Lord, particularly in seeing how vital it is for young women to take a stand for Christ, and for going against what is “normal” in today’s society, because so often “normal” can be connected with sinful. It has also shown me the importance of close familial relationships, purity of heart, and purity of body. It is important not to just be able to survive in our feministic culture. We also need to be able to take rise above it and change it for the better. Anna and Elizabeth are dear friends of mine, and they have done a wonderful job in mentoring girls to become more godly women, in heart, speech, and behavior. I recommend this book to all young ladies, but especially those who struggle with defending their beliefs on godly womanhood, or those who struggle with feministic ideas and behavior.
